Game is scoreless until there is 12:28 left. Turtles go up 2-0 and then lead 3-1. Diggers get close with 2:55 left, but pull their goaltender and Turtles get the empty netter.  Chris Chappell scores 3 for the Turtles, while Rick DiCecco stands out in goal for the Diggers.

Pete Eathorne is the deciding factor in the game, stopping all but one of the many great shots the Old Saints had. Terry Breen scores the two goals, set up by his brother Bill on both, with Steven King also setting up the winner.
